A limited edition with Nounou

Together with Nounou, we present the musical box edition VIS-À-VIS. It is limited to a total of 160 pieces; a numbered certificate contains the original signature of the french artist Jean JJullien.

Jean Jullien lives and works in Paris. His creative output ranges from illustration, photography, and video to costumes, installations, books, posters, clothing – even skateboards. Jullien has shown work around the world with museums and galleries in Paris, London, Brussels, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Berlin, Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore and more. His work appears in the New York Times, the New Yorker, National Geographic, SZ Magazin, Télérama, and more, and he has collaborated with Beams, RCA Records, The Connaught, colette, Amnesty International, Le Coq Sportif, Hotel Amour, Champion USA, Salomon, Petit Bateau and Vogue, among other global brands. In 2016, he launched Nounou with Jae Huh, a Korea-based label with whose support the VIS-À-VIS music box was created.

For us, Jean Jullien has put his distinctive faces on two sides of a musical box: one awake and one tired. A humorous commentary on Robert Schumann's famous melody ‘Träumerei’, which resounds from inside the solid oak body. VIS-À-VIS is a real piece of art that can also be a fixed part of the evening ritual of putting to bed.
