It is the exhilarating waltz melody of The Blue Danube that transforms this puristic musical box with its slowly-turning white key into a very sensuous object. It is made exclusively for us in a small family-run manufacture in the Black Forest, where the 18-note chimes are inserted into dice made of solid beech wood which are then manually sanded and polished with natural oils.
