In Germany the word ‘Perle’ stands for pearl and in the household it describes a reliable and faithful person; as jewellery it stands for noble elegance. Our PERLE trivet combines these qualities. Strung porcelain beads keep the hot cooking pot at a distance from the tablecloth or delicate wooden surfaces. Two patches of red leather give the design object its versatility and contrast elegantly with the subtle white of the porcelain. As a simple circle, twisted loop or laid as a ‘figure of eight’, PERLE is always suitable for large, small or several cooking pots.
