The art of functional folding
Polished metal strips are skillfully folded and turned into prismatic objects. Arranged one inside the other, HEXAGON turns into a floral table sculpture – each individual element lends itself perfectly to use as a coaster for all pots of common diameters. HEXAGON is manually crafted in small factories in Taipeh. The last rather complex step in the production process is the polishing of the surface which is then galvanically sealed – elegantly gleaming in brass, copper and vintage.
