In Germany the word “Perle” stands for pearl and in the household it describes a reliable and faithful person; as jewellery it stands for noble elegance. Our PERLE WOOD trivet combines these qualities. Strung porcelain beads keep the hot cooking pot at a distance from the tablecloth or delicate wooden surfaces. Two patches of red leather give the design object its versatility and contrast elegantly with the lively structure of the untreated beech wood. As a simple circle, twisted loop or laid as a “figure of eight”, PERLE WOOD is always suitable for large, small or several cooking pots.
